Scripture Prints: Request List

In the near future, I will be going on a 2 week long trip to the East Coast. I am super optimistic that I can use this time away from the shop to my advantage. One of my 2016 goals is to double my inventory of printable art. This means I have about 70 prints to make.  I think this time away (with a lot of plane rides) is the perfect time to get a large chunk of my sketching done. 




I currently have a 40 pages left in my sketchbook and I think it would be pretty neat-o to sketch 40 prints while I'm gone. I already have a list of my own with several prints I'd like to draw, but I want to know what you would like to see! 

I'd like to sketch mainly scriptures and hymns, but I am willing to sketch other quotes as well. Just keep in mind that I can only sell quotes that are in the public domain. (Recent movie quotes or recent song lyrics are probably a no-go. You can check if a hymn is in the public domain here.)

Below is a list of scriptures/hymns that have already been requested. Help me collect 40! I'd also love to hear your thoughts on what style you would like it done in. So if you want flowers or birds or vines, or you really love swirly letters, art deco style, typewriter fonts, etc...If you don't care, that's fine too! Just let me know. I'd love to take all your creative ideas into consideration. This is the perfect chance to get a semi-customized print done for the same price as my other scripture prints (assuming I can actually sketch them all, haha). If you request a scripture, let me know what translation you would like. If you don't have a preference, I will sketch it with an ESV translation.

I will update this list as you all request them so you can see the current list and the order. You can submit requests by commenting on this blog - or - by commenting or messaging me on Facebook or Instagram. Requesting a scripture/hymn is not binding for either party. You don't have to purchase it when I list it, and I am not required to sketch every request. If you would like to submit a formal order, please go to my Etsy Page and request a custom order from me.

I'm really looking forward to reading about everyone's favorite scripture or hymn! It will be so fun to keep the person who requested it in mind while I draw. I think it will help create some really intentional designs.
