How To Use A Yoyo Maker

The pictures below outline how to make a yoyo with a yoyo maker.

Start with a swatch of fabric a little larger than your yoyo maker. You will also need a needle, thread, and scissors.

Separate the inner circle from the base.
Put the fabric in the base - wrong side down.
Snap the inner circle into the base. There will be a couple guides to line up so you know it is in straight.
Trim off the excess fabric leaving about a 1/2 inch.
It should overlap the holes on the inner-circle.
Make a knot at the end of your thread, and begin sewing around the circle using the guide holes.

I usually sew two holes past my original starting point. And then pop out the inner circle.
Gently pull the fabric off to the inner circle.
Pull the thread so it scrunches up in the center.
Tie a knot!

Pull the needle through the backside of the yoyo, and then trim. This way the tail end of the thread stays inside the yoyo, and doesn't stick out the top.

All done!
